Located: Lake Creek Loop Road.  Built near where the Lake Creek School was located in the early 1900’s.

Article from supplement of Upper Rogue Independent on February 2000. Helen Barrow rings the bell to official open the Lake Creek Learning Center.

Helen Barrow was born in Lake Creek and spent her grade school years at Lake Creek Schools. In an article prepared by Mark Flint for the Lake Creek Historical Society (Winter 1999), Mrs. Barrow said it was the influence of Lake Creek School teacher Julia Sidley that led her to a teaching career.
